EDM Valves have been designed specifically for the many demanding applications chemical, petroleum, power generating, pump, paper and various types of manufacturing industries. They provide a highly reliable, leakproof and torque free seal on all connections.
EDM Valves are commonly used on instrumentation, process and control systems or any other application where a high quality valves are required.
EDM Valves are available in Stainless Steel, Brass and Carbon Steel as standard materials, and can be manufactured from various materials upon request.
The selection of and valves for any application or system design must be considered to ensure safe performance.
The function, rating, material compatibility, proper installation, operation and maintenance remain the sole responsibility of the system designer and the user. EDM accepts no liability for any improper selection,
installation, operation or maintenance.
■Cold drawn bar.
■Compact body design.
■Hardened stem threads and forged body for long cycle life.
■Integral bonnet design to eliminate unintentional stem back-out.
■Standard non-rotating stem disc and stem packing below the threads design.
■Valve stem back seating against the bevelled edge of bonnet in fully open position prevents maximum leakage through bonnet when packing fails.
■Stop pin to prevent accidental bonnet disengagement.
■Panel mounting available.
■Steady and durable fastening of the handle by double lock-pins.
■Leak-tight performance testing for every valve with nitrogen at the maximum working pressure, but not higher than 6000 psig.
■Maximum working pressure: Stainless steel :6000psig(414bar) Alloy C-276 :6000psig(414bar) Alloy 400 :5000psig(345bar) Titanium :3500psig(241bar) Brass :3000psig(207bar)
■Working temperature: PTFE: -65°F to 450°F(-54°C to 232°C) PEEK: -65°F to 500°F(-54°C to 260°C) Graphite: -65°F to 1200°F (-54°C to 649°C)
